Brief
Strepsils, known for its sore throat lozenges, is a “powerbrand” within the global consumer health company, Reckitt. Reckitt needed to communicate a shift in its focus towards tackling the causes of coughs as well as the sore throat that results from it. This is part of the company’s remit to demonstrate its powerbrands’ heritage, research credentials and thought leadership.
“As we scale the Cough Dual Action range, we are doing more than driving business growth – we are enhancing global health outcomes.”

Solution
In conjunction with Strepsils’s R&D team, I wrote a long-form web article on the brand’s world-leading, over-the-counter product offerings over the last seven decades. This was then paired with a social media reel for LinkedIn and Meta on the theme of “evolution and expansion”. This reiterated the thrust of the long-form piece in a short, sharp video. Finally, I wrote some short-form B2B thought leadership copy for social media platforms underlining the shift towards tackling coughs using rigorous, botanical science.
